About the Journal

The KALAM journal is a scientific journal published by the Aceh Religious and Society Studies Institute (LSAMA) since 2013. This journal focuses on Acehnese Islamic and social studies covering religious, educational, political, and social thought. This journal aims to enrich, extend and also develop Islamic and social studies in Aceh.

This journal was founded and initiated by a group of educational, political, and socio-religious experts. This journal is published twice a year in June and December; registered on ISSN 2338-2341 & E-ISSN 2597-9175. The first to third year editions (ie 2013; 2014; 2015) are published in a hardcopy, but this journal has been published electronically since 2016 in the OJS 2 version which was later changed to OJS 3.
